I have setup a custom registration form with the provided profiles post type. I am using the “title” field as a “given name” field and just a text box for the surname.

For some reason after registration the “title” field is left blank on the users profile. This is an issue because we have profile verification as a front end thing and thus we must fill the title form every time as it is a required field.

Either way it’s a form that needs to be filled and not empty regardless. Why would this be happening?
