Hello,
I need help with configuring the user role editor for giving limited access to an employee. This employee is specifically assigned to create/edit/delete/publish listings as well as create/edit/delete/publish location taxonomies.
98% of listings on my site are “Service” listings and that is what I want the employee to access fully.
I have installed the PRO version of the User Role Editor plugin at https://www.role-editor.com/ and have done the following:
1) I have created a user type called “Listing Editor”
2) I have then assigned all possible capabilities for this type that comes under the listing types I want the employee to have access.
3) I have created a new user under this user type “Listing Editor” and have also added the extra role of this same user type.
The result is below:
1) I can see all the service listings when i log in with this username but if I edit it, the listing becomes a 404 in the front end.
2) I can see the location taxonomies very partially but cannot edit or add them. I can just see them in a different format than I see as an admin.
3) I can just see the features taxonomy but that’s it, cannot add or edit them.
