I’m encountering an unexpected behavior during profile editing. I’m using the `tax_geo_area` taxonomy as the source for two distinct fields:

– `birthplace` (Birthplace)
– `residence_area` (Residence area)

Both fields are configured to use the same taxonomy (`tax_geo_area`). However, when I change the value of one field during profile editing, the other field is automatically updated with the same value—as if they were linked.

Question:
Is this behavior expected? Am I misconfiguring the fields, or is this a bug related to how the shared taxonomy is handled?
