Hi
Appreciating the flexibility of the paid listing plans, we seek the best practice for managing plan transitions. We need a solution that ensures a great user experience while being **entirely user-managed**, minimizing manual team intervention.
1. Scenario and Main Question
We use the following plans:
| Plan | Limit | Cost |
| Starter | 1 | €0 |
| Extended | 30 | €30 |
| Unlimited | Unlimited | €100 |
A user buys three Extended subscriptions (€90 total, 90 listings). When publishing the 91st, the fourth Extended purchase (€120 total) is less cost-effective than Unlimited (€100).
Main Question: What is the optimal user workflow to transition from three limited plans to the Unlimited plan?
Our hypothesis:
1. Purchase the new Unlimited subscription.
2. Manually cancel the three prior Extended subscriptions.
2. Consequences of Cancellation and Reassignment
If the user cancels the three plans, what happens to the linked listings? (Manual reassignment by our team is not scalable.)
1. Listing Status: Are listings moved to **Draft**, unpublished/hidden, marked as **Expired**, or do they remain Published despite no active plan?
2. Reassignment: Can the user **autonomously reassign** these listings to the new Unlimited plan via the listing edit screen?
3. Limit Configurations for Unlimited Plans
For the Unlimited plan’s Submission Limit:
Must we enter a high numerical value (e.g., $1000$) or is there an option for truly **Unlimited** (e.g., field empty)?
Thanks.
