How can I restrict the location search autocomplete to only show places in a specific region of the country?

At the moment, it shows autocomplete suggestions from all over the UK, which are irrelevant because this directory is only for Cornwall.

I’ve read in this support forum that some kind of bounding box solution should be ready in version 1.5.

Is this available? Or is there a patch I can apply?
