Hey team … can’t find seem to find a way to put a “purchase limit” on Memberships or Paid listings.
Does this exist?
I need to offer Businesses a way to purchase a sponsorship package (Platinum, Gold, Silver, Bronze) but there are only a limited number of each package per year ie Platinum has 10 etc … and they tie into whether a business can update their business listing and also how many Jobs (another CPT) they can post.
Closest I’ve come is setting up a Product type “Expo Registration” that is a Variable product mode, and has Stock.
Then in my Expo CPT (1 Expo is added per year) I add the Product field and chose the Expo Registration product type.
This seems it might work initially … however still need to associate the business who just purchased a plan to some sort of membership OR paid listing plan in order to set the limits on how many Jobs they can post and also to claim their business listing.
Thinking there might be a way to redirect the business after a successful purchase directly to set up a membership or paid listing plan (obviously free as they have already paid for it using the Product Type). Does this make sense?
How else could this scenario be accomplished?
If there is a better flow or more streamlined way to do this please assist if at all possible and will be greatly appreciated 🙂
