Hi
I followed your documentation regarding the 1.7 updates and the new settings for the paid plans, and I believe that the paid plans moved from Membership plans –> paid listings.
But I’m so confused about what the benefit of using the paid members is!!
My site model is a directory for hair salons & stylists where they can submit their listings (Salons / Professionals), and these 2 listing types are connected to different listing types, like: portfolios, products, collections, events.
I have 3 user roles (Customer / Salon owner / Stylist), and I used to use the membership plans for the listings submission with more options & listings for higher plans.
Now, I have moved all the plans I created before under the paid listings, but I have the following question:
1. What is the benefit of using the Paid Members? Or in another way .. Why does a user think that he must upgrade to a paid plan over the free plan?
2. Do the new settings mean that the user is going to subscribe twice, first needs to get a member plan, then a listing plan?
3. I used to use the visibility rules based on membership plans to hide/show fields. Should it be shifted to “Listing plan is”?
4. I see that the “Configure plan” page has been removed, so how the user can show his plan capabilities and limits for each assigned CPT?
5. There was an option before to set prices to buy extra listings if you reach the maximum limit. Is it still available?
