Hello, could you advise me on the following website use case? I’m struggling to work out whether paid listings or memberships is the correct way to achieve the scenario.
I have 4 different post types:
– Trade
– Professional Service
– Supplier
– Projects
I also have 5 different types of users for the website:
– Standard user – no account needed, they will just browse the front end of the site
– Homeowner user – can create an account for free and can create/publish a set number of projects. They can message other paying users of the site.
– Trade user – should pay $50 per month and should be able to create and publish 1 ‘Trade’ (post type). They can view projects and can message homeowners.
– Professional Service user – should pay $50 per month and should be able to create and publish 1 ‘Professional Service’ (post type). They can view projects and can message homeowners.
– Supplier user – should pay $50 per month and should be able to create and publish 1 ‘Supplier’ (post type). The supplier user should also have the option of creating more supplier post types, but at a different cost per post ($10pm).
I want all paying users to have a 30 day free trial to start with.
From what I can tell, this use case seems to be a mix of features of paid listings and paid memberships.
Previously, I think this could be achieved with memberships, where we have a monthly membership fee, with the option of setting additional prices for creating post type listings.
Can you help?
