I am not sure when this started but I noticed yesterday that the post follow notifications were not working (neither in-app or email). On checking I can’t see any in-app notifications visually displaying. I do however receive admin email notifications for direct messages (but not for new user registered admin emails).

I checked security headers, plugins, cache and switched away from the child theme and don’t think any of those are the issue. With Post Follows I can see that there is a successful response when clicking “follow us” but that no app notification is displayed. Attached some screenshots.

If you could have a look that would be really appreciated. I’ve provided access to the live site.

PS – I whitelisted our server IP in Cloudflare, but that also made no change.
