If you manually assign a user a membership plan (e.g. Premium) and select payment method “no payment”, does this mean the user will be on a premium plan for free indefinitely?

Is there a process for prompting the user at some stage to add credit card details for their premium plan?

I notice if you try and change payment method to Stripe it asks for a Payment Intent ID.
