I have a create post and have been trying to conditionally hide fields, but still have the pre-filled value properly submit. I always want to have the pre-filled value, but only want some of the users to have access to edit the field value on the frontend.

I’ve gone around and around trying to get that to happen with conditional logic and visibility rules but every time it results in an empty field for pre-filled when hiding – except when using the is hidden toggle under general.

Is this a bug or would there need to be a feature addition for that granular control?
