Tried a totally new Google account to sign in with.

Able to select the email, click the continue. But stuck after that.

– Confirmed with hosting support that issue is not on hosting side
– Added Cache Exclusions (action=auth.google.login and /?vx=1&action=auth.google.login*)
– Purged Cache & reset permalinks (saved twice)
– Enabled Debugging: Edited wp-config.php to turn on WordPress logging to try to “catch” the error in a debug.log file.
– Checked Logs: The only errors found were “Deprecated” warnings (which are just background notes, not the reason the login is failing).
– Site settings & Google console setup all ok (correct domain, URIs1 for JavaScript & redirect, also app published, secret link in – did this a 2nd time)

Tried couple of times same email, cleared cookie + history.
Sometimes went in , but not at page @user(profile.permalink).

Previously, it seemed smooth when I first set up Google login.
