I have a filter for my post type which is a switcher – it allows us to toggle if a place has permanently closed or not.

In my search results throughout the site, I have a filter which defaults to “unchecked”. Despite this, it is still showing places that are “checked”.

I have tried setting it to “closed” and it seems it is not updating by the default value, only when manually toggling. As this element is hidden, it means the default filter is not kicking in.

Is there any reason for this?
