Hi,
I’m planning to build a platform for event service providers. There will be two main user groups: service seekers and service providers.
Service providers should pay for a subscription to be listed on the platform. The subscription should be paid upfront and include a fixed number of listings they can publish.
Seekers, on the other hand, should get free access to view full provider profiles once they are logged in. Logged-out users will only see limited details. This part is clear.
Additionally, seekers should also be able to post a one-time “request listing” (like a job posting) for a small fee. Their listing should stay online for a limited, predefined period.
My question:
What is the correct use case for each feature? I’m not fully sure about the practical difference between “Paid Listings” and “Paid Members.”
Would it be correct to use a Paid Membership for service providers (giving them a subscription that includes a certain number of active listings), and use Paid Listings for seekers who only need to pay once to publish their temporary request?
Thanks in advance!
