Availability Filter Returns Unavailable Posts

The availability calendar/filter, when connected to a booking product with timeslots, doesn’t exclude days that are not included in the booking timeslot schedule or days within the buffer period. Only excluded dates, fully booked dates or dates outside of the availability range are excluded when using the filter. This means that posts are included in the search results even when there is no availability, which defeats the purpose. Is this normal behaviour for this filter?
